The Corning Incorporated Foundation will match dollar-for-dollar Corning employee donations of at least $25 made to eligible organizations, up to a total of $7,500 per employee each calendar year.
There are 11 categories of eligible non-profit organizations:
- Arts organizations
- Colleges, universities
- Health and wellness organizations
- Healthcare-based organizations
- Historical societies
- Nature areas, zoos, or gardens
- Private K-12 grade schools
- Public radio or television stations
- Public school districts
Eligible non-profit organizations must be 501(c)(3) and 509(a) public charities. All applicants must comply with Corning Incorporated Foundation’s non-discrimination policy.
The Employee Matching Gifts Program dates back to 1958. It has been a popular way for active Corning employees to double their contributions to non-profit organizations important to them. The program is available for those who have been employed part-time or full-time by Corning in the U.S. for at least 90 days. Employees should use the manual Employee Matching Gifts process for all 2017 donations. This printable form will be available until March 31, 2018.
